Got Gifted Sunglasses You'd Like to Return? Here's How!

Ray-Ban has no problem with customers changing their minds about their sunglasses purchase. If you were gifted a pair of Ray-Bans and would rather have the cold hard cash to put towards paying off your credit card or buying a cart of groceries, here is what you need to do.

Ray-Ban return policy: In-store purchases

Pop into any US Ray-Ban store, or Lenscrafters store and head to the cash desk. A sales agent will gladly assist you with your your refund. For a full refund, you will need the order number and the original packaging. Once your refund is processed, you will receive a confirmation email and the total refund amount should be in your account within five days.

Ray-Ban return policy: Online orders

Sunglasses purchased on Ray-ban.com can be returned at any US Ray-Ban store or Lenscrafters store. Simply follow the steps outlined above. However, if you don’t have a store near you or would prefer to ship the sunglasses back, here’s what to do:

1. Find out the order number and email address used for originally placing the order.
2. Go to the returns page on the Ray-Ban website, click on My Orders and type in the email address and order number.
3. The procedure will guide you on printing the Return Label and Authorization.
4. Pack the sunglasses in their original packaging. Be sure to include any accessories and/or manuals that may have been included in the packaging.
5. Secure the package so there is no risk of the contents suffering damage on their return journey.
6. Stick the pre-paid Return Label on the package and send it off.

Useful tip: Because the holiday season is a busy time, Ray-Ban is giving customers an extended return period of 90 days for orders placed between November 3rd, 2022, and December 31st, 2022.

Sunglass Hut return policy

Your bestie bought you a pair of wayfarers, but you are more of an aviator’s fan. If the shades come from Sunglass Hut, you have thirty days to return them for a full refund. The refund may take three to five days to process. What do you need to get your refund when you return sunglasses?

• Proof of original purchase, such as a confirmation email or store receipt.
• The original packaging.

Can you return sunglasses to Sunglass Hut without a receipt?

If you don’t have proof of purchase, you won’t be able to get a full refund. However, you will be able to get store credit or swap out your gifted pair of sunnies for something that is more your style. Just remember that you will only get credit for the current selling price. If the pair of sunglasses you want to return have recently gone on sale, you will not get the entire amount credited to you, only the current sale price.
